What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When you ask for information from our members or request a copy of Wyoming Outdoors, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, outdoor recreation interests specific to our industry, or other details to help you with your experience.

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, sign up for our newsletter or mailing list, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

  • To send periodic emails informing you of industry news or legislative hunting issues in our state, if you have signed up for a newsletter or our mailing list, requested a copy of Wyoming Outdoors, or requested information from our members.

We may collect your name, address, email address, and specific outdoor recreation interests to be able to direct your request for information to our members, or to be able to send you a copy of Wyoming Outdoors. You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Our website is backed up nightly, and information securely stored by our webhost, WP Engine.
