Livingston Outfitting is a father-and-daughter-operated family business built on generations of experience, a passion for the outdoors, and a commitment to providing quality backcountry experiences. Lee has been guiding hunts since 1985 and founded Livingston Outfitting in 1995. His daughter, Alex, was born into the outfitting business and grew up with a love for the mountains, horses, and hunting. After earning her degree in Conservation Law Enforcement, Alex returned to her roots and joined the family operation full-time in 2021. She received her outfitter license in 2024. Our hunting operation is based out of two wilderness horseback camps in Elk Area 59, as well as our family lodge. We keep hunter numbers low in camp, allowing us to provide a more personalized experience while helping produce a high success rate. Our professional staff, gentle horses, and well-maintained equipment ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable hunt in the backcountry. Trophy bull elk are our specialty, and we take pride in providing hunters with the opportunity to experience a true Western elk hunt in some of the most beautiful country around. In addition to guided hunting, we offer summer trips, fishing adventures, and backcountry horseback excursions for those looking to experience the wilderness beyond hunting season.
