The 2022 WYOGA Annual Convention was another HUGE success! Thank you to our members and guests who attended and participated in the three-day event. Thank you to Harriett Hageman for presenting at the Friday luncheon. We had four guest speakers on Saturday that provided a lot of great information for our members:
• Brian Nesvik, Director for the Wyoming Game & Fish Department
• Leah Corrigan, Attorney, Recreation Law Center
• Josh Coursey, CEO/CO-Founder, Muley Fanatics
• Bob Budd, Wyoming Wildlife Trust Fund
For the first time in 63 years, we had the pleasure of having Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon and First Lady Jenny Gordon attend our banquet. WYOGA auctioned a half a beef donated by 307 Meat Processing and raised $5,400 dollars for Food from the Field. Thank you to our sponsors: Gunwerks, Best of the West Outfitters, Wyoming Whiskey, Sporting Lead-Free, Dallas Safari Club, Safari Club International, Wild Sheep Foundation and Steve & Cory Sheaffer. Thank you to our 10 vendors and especially to our many volunteers who helped where needed. I would like to welcome our new board members, Angie Denny, Tedd Jenkins and Bruce Kopperud. Your time and dedication to the board is greatly appreciated. Laurie is finalizing a convention report and when it’s available, it will be emailed to you for your review. Thank you all for supporting WYOGA.
– Sy Gilliland, President
